PPC #45 and Paper Cutz Challenge #38

Here is the color combo for PPC this week. I used colors that are close from my stash to come up with my card.

This week the Paper Cutz Challenge is to make a Mother's Day card. I cut the shaped mat with my Just Because cartridge, the circle charm with Give A Hoot, and the stem with Walk in my Garden. The flowers are from a big canister of Prima flowers. I've been using these flowers on a lot of things lately and haven't even put a dent in that container.

Cricutters Anonymous 33 and Mojo Monday 135

The challenge at Cricutters Anonymous this week is to make a Spring card so I used the Mojo Monday sketch and this is what I came up with. These cute patterned papers are from a K & Company mat pad called "Citronella". I used George to cut the flowers, WIMG to cut the stems, Just Because to cut the white shaped mat and Give a Hoot to cut the scalloped charm. I love the way this turned out...these color are so bright and happy.

SPCC #43 and Cricut Cardz Challenge #21

This is the color combo at SPCC this week and the Cricut Cardz Challenge is to make a get well card using any color or cardridges. I combined these two challenges to come up with my card. I got this cute "Bee Well" stamp out of the the dollar bin at Michael's a while back. The bee is from Create A Critter and the grass/tulip border and the square charm are from Give a Hoot.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #20

The Cricut Cardz Challenge this week is to make a beach or summer themed project using any colors or cartridges. I used Create a Critter and Give a Hoot to make my card. The crab, sun, starfish and sandcastle are from Create a Critter and the sand "dunes" are from Give a hoot.

Paper Cutz Challenge #36

The Paper Cutz Challenge this week is to make a project using three patterned papers. I used the butterfly from Create A Critter to come up with this Mother's Day card. The sentiment is from a pack of rub ons and the oval is cut from George. I ran my background mats thru the Cuttlebug to give it some texture. I love the colors on this...these papers are from a mat stack from My Mind's Eye Home.

I don't know why I'm addicted to butterflies right now but I will try to make my next few cards without them.

SPCC #42

Here is the color combo over at SPCC this week. I do not have these exact colors so I just used some from my stash at are close. I used my new Give a Hoot Cartridge to make my card.

There are several animals on this cartridge with these pretty swirl patterns on them and I think they are so pretty. There are also some real cool borders. I decided to make this a sympathy card...I have not made one before and thought these colors would work well.

Mojo Monday 133

This is the same card that I posted earlier this week, but when I went to link it up for Mojo Monday, I realized I left the ribbon off. I guess I got carried away when I was putting the card together.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #19

The Cricut Cardz Challenge this week is anything goes, so I used the Mojo Monday sketch to come up with this card. My friend's little girl turns 3 tomorrow and I got her the cutest little outfit at Target and it has icecream cones on the shorts. I think this card turned out cute...I haven't decided if I'm going to add a sentiment to the front or not.

Paper Cutz Challenge #35 and Cricutters Anonymous #31

The UPS man brought my new Cricut cartridges yesterday (yeah!). I got Just Because, Give a Hoot and Create a Critter. It looks like they have some great cuts on them. This week the Paper Cutz Challenge is to make a Spring card using only green, red, brown and white. Over at Cricutters Anonymous, the challenge is to make an Easter or Spring card. I used Just because to cut this cute shaped mat and Give a Hoot to cut the the border, flower and hummingbird. Hummingbirds are my favorite birds so I was so excited to see this on the cartridge.

SPCC #41

This week at SPCC the color combo is Almost Amethyst, Pumpkin Pie and Soft Suede. I used colors from my stash that are close. I stamped an image and colored it with my MS colored pencils. This is my first time trying that...I think it turned okay. The "hi" is a rub on sentiment.
