This is the sketch the Mojo Monday sketch this week. I decided to used this sketch and the Red, White and Blue color combo challenge from ...wee memories to come up with my card. The pattern papers are from K and Company. I just love all their paper packs. This card also fits the Paper Cutz Challenge this week. We were asked to use a sqare, circle or star on our project. This star was cut with George and basic shapes, the white scalloped circle was cut with Lacy Labels.

I made this card using the owl from Give a Hoot, I think he is soooo cute! The shaped mat is from Lacy Labels...it is the "All Girl" cut. The stamp is from a set by Hampton Art and the pattern paper is from K and Company. I used two Cuttlebug embossing folders...Swiss Dots and Spot and Dots.
All these Spots and Dots made this card a perfect fit for Momo's challenge this week.

This is the color combo over at Picture Perfect Creations this week. I kind of had a hard time figuring out what to do with these colors. I decided on the Create a Critter snail....and then I added Prima flowers for the shell. I know....snails don't usually have flower shells....but I think it looks pretty. I used my MS Doily Lace punch and some ribbon for the border.

This is a card I made for Father's Day. I cut the truck from Just Because Cards, I cut off the wooden panels on the bed of the truck. The hearts are from Paisley and the "hill" border from Give a Hoot. I ran the sky blue background through the Cuttlebug using Divine Swirls and the "hills" are embossed with the Swiss Dot folder. I think the kids and I will give this to my husband for Father's Day. I love the way it turned out.
I plan on entering this in a couple of challenges: Paper Cutz, CAS - tastic Challenges and Card Blog.

Cricut Cardz Challenge this week is to make a project with shoes on it. I used my Paisley cartridge to make my card. This awesome pattern paper is from Anna Griffin, Peyton Colllection. This mat pack has some really cool animal prints and leather type patterns. I think I got my sentiment a little off center....the circle scalloped punch I have is a little tricky. I think I would rather have a squeeze type punch. I think it turned out okay anyway.

This is the color combo over at Picture Perfect Creations this week. I used Create a Critter to come up with my card. I got this cute sentiment stamp last week and I just love it. The set is called "Utterly Fantastic" from Inkadinkado. The flowers are from a set of dimensional stickers and the wood grain paper is Martha Stewart

Here is one other card I made this week. I submitted this for the Cards Blog floral paper challenge. This pretty floral paper is from The Paper Studio, Pink Armadillo stack. I made this layered flower using the accessory flower on page 62 of the Create a Critter cartridge. I stamped and heat embossed the "thank you" on a blossom shape from George. This is a pretty simple card but I love the way it turned out.
I wanted to share another card I made this week. I wanted to used this cutie owl from Create a Critter for a graduation card but since she looks like she is sleeping I decided to add "Dream" as the sentiment. I used the phrase from the little lamb cut on Create a Critter and just trimmed off the "s" with an Exacto blade. This cute patterned paper is from the MS packs I got recently from Wal-Mart.

This is the sketch over at Mojo Monday this week. I used this cute owl from Give a Hoot to come up with my card. I plan to use this for a graduation card...I have several parties coming up in the next couple weeks. Graduation is the theme for the challenge at Made by Momo. She is giving away a Cindy Loo Crictu cartridge (yeah!). The scalloped border is from Just because and the yellow scalloped circle is from Create a Critter.
This is the color combo over at SPCC this week. I love these colors....so pretty! I got some new stamps last week and decided to try them out. This set is called "Utterly Fantastic" from Inkadinkado and there are some really cute images....this cute little bird, a cow , a penguin and a monkey...all with cute little punny sayings. I obviously need to practice my coloring....or maybe I should stick to using the Cricut. This card also fits the challenge over at Wee Memories, which is Punch It. I used my scalloped circle punch and the MS lace doily border punch.

The Cricut Cardz Challenge this week is to make a Father's Day card using any cartridge. I used Give a Hoot earth gift cut (I trimmed off the bow) and the shaped mat from is from Just Because Cards. I printed the sentiment on the computer. This striped background paper is from one of the very first paper packs I purchased...it is paper instead of card stock so I am trying to make an effort to use it for mats and things like that.

These are the colors over at Picture Perfect Creations this week. I used some cardstock from my stash that is close to these colors. I used my Cuttlebug and some Prima flowers to come up with my card. The big green flower is silk....I got these from Peachy Cheap several months ago but have not used them before. They are so big and sort of sheer but I think it looks okay. This "Happy Birthday" ribbon is MS.

Over at Cuttlebug Challenge they are having a color challenge. The challenge reads:
This year's hottest colors are cool, cool, cool!!! Aquas, Pinks, Turquoise, Raspberries, and Swimming Pool Blue, with a big scoop of Vanilla, all bring the introduction of summer! This week our Cuttlebug Challenge is to create with these colors!
I used Create a Critter (again!) to come up with my card. This little fish is so cute! The background paper is from one of my new Martha Stewart packs and the two littles fishies next to the sentiment are cut out from some K and Company paper.
