Cricut Cardz Challenge - Hootie Halloween

It's time for another Cricut Cardz Challenge!  This week the challenge is Hootie Halloween....make a Halloween card with an owl on it.  There are so many adorable owls I had a hard time deciding which cartridge to use.  I finally decided on
Hoot and Holler.

The owl is cut at 2.75" and the hat, from Happy Hauntings, is at 1.5" (I think).  The glitter paper on my owl and the plaid background paper are DCWV.  The print paper is from an old dictionary that I got at the thrift store.

Terrific Tuesday Challenge and the Digi Bistro

Happy Tuesday everyone!  I have two challenges for you today!   

The Scrappy Moms Stamps - Terrific Tuesday Challenge is Mini Monsters.

 The Digi Bistro - Add a Tag to your project!

Since I don't have Mini Monsters, I used this adorable little ghost from the Digi Bistro- Pick your Poison SVG set.

I re-purposed a goodie back that my kids got from a birthday party.  I added some MS Halloween paper and then cut my tag from The Digi Bistro -  Tag It set.  The sentiment is from the new Scrappy Moms Stamp set - Bewitched.  I mounted the little ghost on a action wobble and it really makes him pop off the tag!

We are all featuring different digital kits from 4 my Babies Scraps.  I selected the Expecting a Special Delivery baby kit for my projects.  This kit has some adorable baby themed images and some fabulous papers!

I used the cut and print feature on my Silhoutte to cut the little teddy bear from the kit.  I printed out two of the papers and  used a Scrappy Moms Stamp for my sentiment.

Paper Playtime - Halloween

A pocket full of Memories Blog Hop

Hi everyone!  Welcome!  Thanks so much to Jess from KinderStampo for including me in  the fun today!  You should have arrived here from Singrid's blog.  If you just stopped by for a visit, click here to start at the beginning.

Jess asked us to make a mini album with pockets in it.....sounds easy enough.  There are so many amazing mini albums on the web I had a hard time deciding what to try.   I found this simple tutorial from K Werner designs....I loved the fact that it only used one 12 x 12 sheet.  I was also inspired by this mini book that my DT sister Lowri made using the Echo Park - For the Record line.

All the paper elements are from Echo Park - For the Record.  I cut the label shapes from Elegant Edges.

The inside left has a pocket....I trimmed down a skinny notepad from Paper Trey Ink to fit.  The measuring tape border on the edge creates a small pocket to slip in a note or business card. 

The left side has two pockets....I cut tags from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More and adhered some more of the little journal cards from the For the Record kit. 

The last two pages I just added some mats for some pictures and the last pocket has a third mat.

I think it turned out so pretty....was a fun way to help myself stay organized and have a few pictures of my kids on hand.  I always  have to search my phone for a picture when someone asks to see one.

This would also make a great holiday planner if you just changed up the paper.

Scrappy Moms Stamps - Have a Ball

Hi everyone!  I have a cute card for you today that I made with one of the new Scrappy Moms Stamps - Game Day.  This is perfect for all your sports goodie bags and scrapbook pages.

 

I cut the ball from Nate's ABCs and the paper are from Echo Park - Little Boy.  I love these bright primary colors.

Candy Corn Kisses and a Winner

Hi everyone!  I have another cute project today using one of newest Scrappy Moms stamp sets.....Bewitched.

I made a fun treat container.....

These boxes are from Dollar Tree and come in a package of 12 for $1.  They are great for classroom treats!  I cut the candy corn from the Smiley Cards cartridge at 3" and the tag is from Sweet Treats.  The pattern paper is from a Martha Stewart Halloween paper pad I got last year.

The Digi Bistro - 3D Flower Challenge

Hi everyone!  It's time for another Digi Bistro Challenge.  Our challenge this week is to make a project with a 3D flower on it.   I used the flower for the the Birds of the Feather SVG set which is available in the Digi Bistro Store.

I cut the flower layer in several sizes....a little smaller each time and them seperated the layers with foam dots to add dimension.

These beautiful papers are from My Mind's Eye.

Paper Issues - Creative Team Blog Hop
