Birthday Fishes

Happy Friday everyone!  I hope you all had a great week and were able to escape the heat.  We are all ready breaking records down here in Texas and it's not even July.

It's my turn on the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog today.  I have a fun fish bowl card to show you.

I used Lori Whitlock's fish file.  I used my Design Edition Studio software to weld two fish bowls together to create my card base.  This fun paper is from the Studio Calico - Heyday Collection.  I added some gem "bubbles" and some google eyes.  The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms - Little Critters.
I finished off my card with some pretty orange hemp cord from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Lori Whitlock Design Team Blog Hop

Hi everyone!  Welcome to our blog hop!  You should have arrived from Natalie's blog.  If not, click here to start at the beginning. Lori has this awesome free file available for download today only.

For my project today, I used several of Lori's files to create some 4th of July party decor.

I created the banner by cutting Lori's antique doily file from the Silhouette Store and then layered it with a scallop circle from this set and then a paper doily from my stash.  I folded the circles in have and threaded them onto a jute string.

To create this topiary, I cut a bunch of flowers from this set and hot glued them to a foam ball.   I cut the "july 4th" title from this set.   I love this...you could change the  color scheme and make this for any occasion.

I cut the Lori's award ribbon file from the Silhouette Store to make these little tags.

Lori is having a sale on her new shapes in the shop....you have to check out all the fabulous new files!  I can't wait to play with them!
Your next stop is Joy!  I know she'll have something amazing to show you!

Lori Whitlock - Owl Treat Box

Hi everyone!  I have a cute project for you today using some of Lori Whitlock's newest files.  In case you didn't know, Lori just opened up a new shop with easier check out and file downloads.  I love it...it's super easy to navigate and find what you're looking for.    Lori also just opened a new digi shop over at Jessica Spraque.  You don't want to miss all the fabulous digital kits.

Now for my project...

I used Lori's Owl Treat Bag file and Flip Swing card set. The little treat bag goes together so easily.  The hardest part is picking the paper....sometimes I spend a little too much time on this.  I lose track of time just flipping through all the pretty papers!  All of these pattern papers are from Echo Park - This and That Graceful which Lori designed.
For the sentiment, I used this file.   Lori has sized these phrases perfectly to fit the flip swing cards.

Just for You!

Happy Wednesday everyone!  I hope everyone is having a great week!  I have a cute little gift bag to show you guys today.

I cut Lori Whitlock's Ribbon Tie box on my Cameo from some My Mind's Eye paper.  The box is designed with slots to feed the ribbon through.  I added this beautiful satin horizontal stripe ribbon in teal. I love this ribbon....it's some of my favorites!   I need to keep this one on hand in every color.   I trimmed a piece of a doily to fit in the corner and added some buttons from my stash.  The little jute bow is from this set.
