Cricut Circle Cuttlebug and Recipe Challenge

The Cricut Circle Blog is celebrating their blogaversary and is hosting several challenges with awesome prize.

I made this card for my hubby's birthday today.
I am entering this into the Cuttlebug Challenge.  The football is from Wrap it Up and the tag is from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More.

I recently won some Authentique paper on facebook.  This collection is called Gathering.  It is fabulous.  The paper is super thick and the patterns are all beautiful.  I received the 6 x 6 pad but would love to get my hands on some of the embellishments that go with this collection.
I cut the flowers from Mother's Day Bouquet and then cut out one petal and glued together to form a cone shape.  I cut three layers for each flower...1.5, 1.25, 1.  The brown mat is from Elegant Edges and the ivory one is from Once Upon a Princess.  The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Don't forget about my birthday hop on Saturday.  We have BLOG CANDY!

Royal Tea Bridal Shower Blog Hop

Welcome to the Royal Tea Bridal Shower Blog Hop!  Thanks to Ellen for inviting me to participate.  We are all looking forward to the Royal wedding tomorrow so we decided to celebrate with this fun hop featuring projects about tea, showers and weddings!  You should have arrived from Jacqueline's blog.  If you just stopped by for a visit, click here to start at the beginning.

I decided to make a wedding card today.  I spent some time browsing through my handbooks and decided on the wedding cake from Sweet Treats.
Card Base - Lacy Labels 5.24"
Mat - Lacy Labels 5.13" from DCWV - Summer Dream Stack
Cake - Sweet Treats 3.5"h (hide contours to hide all the little cuts)
 D'vine Swirls embossing folder
Flowers- Mother's Day Bouquet .41"
Sentiment - Scrappy Moms Stamps, Everyday Greetings

I added some pearls and a tulle bow.  I love it!  I think it looks elegant...perfect for a royal wedding.

I have some BLOG CANDY!
