Cricut Cardz Challenge - Hootie Halloween

It's time for another Cricut Cardz Challenge!  This week the challenge is Hootie Halloween....make a Halloween card with an owl on it.  There are so many adorable owls I had a hard time deciding which cartridge to use.  I finally decided on
Hoot and Holler.

The owl is cut at 2.75" and the hat, from Happy Hauntings, is at 1.5" (I think).  The glitter paper on my owl and the plaid background paper are DCWV.  The print paper is from an old dictionary that I got at the thrift store.

Cricut Cardz Challenge - Cupcake Wrapper

Hi everyone!  It's time for another Cricut Cardz Challenge.  This week we are doing something a little different....our challenge is to create a cupcake wrapper/holder.

I  used the Sweet Treats cartidge for my cupcake holder....I cut it at 7-3/4"h.  Unfortunately, I didn't have a cupcake to put in there...I sure wish I did because I LOVE cupcakes.  This cute cupcake paper is from DCWV.  My little card is 4 x 4 and I cut this cupcake, also from Sweet Treats, at 3"h.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #68

Hi everyone!  It's time for another Cricut Cardz Challenge.  This week the challenge is to use a house cut from any cartridge, add some lace and a flourish.  I have had this house paper that I got at Big Lots for a while and I've been dying to use it.

I cut the house from Creat a Critter and the flourish from Give a Hoot.  The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps - Simple Sentiments.  I added some lavener crochet lace at the top...it kinda blends in a little. We can't wait to see what fun cards you come up with....click HERE to link up your project.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #66 - Border Feature

Hi everyone!  I haven't posted in a while,  we've been out of town since last Wednesay for a family wedding.  We had a wonderful time.  It's time for another Cricut Cardz Challenge....this week our challenge is to use the border feature from any cartridge plus the colors blue, yellow and white.

I used Straight from the Nest for this cute little birdie border.  I cut it at 5-1/4"w (real size).   I used one of
MS border punches for the top border and added some yellow stitched ribbon.  My sentiment is from the new Scrappy Moms Stamps set - Spring Fling.  We can't wait to see what you come up with!  Click HERE to link up your project!

Cricut Cardz # 62 - Cup of Cheer

Hi everyone!  It is time for this week's Cricut Cardz Challenge.  This week our challenge it to create a card with a cup image on it.
I used Birthday Bash for my card base and circle layers.  The cup is from Winter Frolic...I cut it at 4"h but left off the steam that comes with the cut.  All the paper on this card (except for the white) is from the SEI Oasis stack.  I recently found this at Michael's on clearance and was going to give it as blog candy but it is so beautiful I had to keep it for myself!  The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps.  Click here to head over to Cricut Cardz Challenge to see all the awesome design team project and to link up you projects.

Cricut Cardz Challenge

Good morning!  This week our challenge at Cricut Cardz Challenge is to make a card with a snowman on it.  You may use any color or cartridge.  I decided to use my new Hello Kitty cartridge that I was lucky enough to grab at Michaels during the $9.99 sale.  There are several really cute images on this cartridge that aren't Hello Kitty.   This little snowman is one of my favorites.

I cut the snowman at 3.75.  The background for the sentiment is cut from Lacy Labels.  The stamp is from the  Scrappy Moms Stamps Winter Wishes set.  This pretty heart background paper is by K and Company from the KaZoo Valentine Stack.  Head on over to Cricut Cardz Challenge to play along with us this week and to see the rest of the design team's amazing cards.
