Cricut Cardz Challenge #84

It's time for another Cricut Cardz Challenge!  This week's challenge is to make a card using a monogram with any cartridge and colors.  I have to say...this was a little hard for me.  I had to think on it for a while but this is what I came up with.
I cut my monogram from A Child's Year at 3" and the yellow strip is from MS Elegant Cake.  I welded two borders together on my Gypsy.  All pattern paper is from Echo Park - For the Record.   The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps - Everyday Greetings.  We can't wait to see your monogram projects....link up at Cricut Cardz Challenge.

Hooray It's Turkey Day! - Cricut Cardz Challenge #48

Hi guys!  This week the challenge at Cricut Cardz Challenge is to make a card for Thanksgiving using the card feature from any cartridge you’d like, and using any colors you’d like.  I decided to use this pretty scallopped card from A Child's Year for my card base.
I cut the turkey from Create a Critter and this pretty tag is from A Child's Year.  I really don't use this cartridge enough, there are so many pretty cuts....I seem to forget about it.  I just love this tag and I was a perfect fit for my Scrappy Moms Stamps sentiment.  This stamp is from The Charmed Life set.  There are so many adorable sentiments on this set....I just love it!  Click HERE to head on over to Cricut Cardz Challenge to play along with this week's challenge.

The Sky's the Limit - Cricut Cardz

They are having a color challenge this week over at Cricut Cardz Challenge .  The colors are orange, yellow, blue, black and white only.

I got the inspiration for my card from Joanna over at Scrap-Making with Joanna.  She has a tutorial on how to make this adorable cloud background paper with the Gypsy.

I followed her instructions and then welded two scalloped circles from A Child's Year together to make my card base.  I cut the adorable giraffe from Create a Critter and the trimmed off his body.  I added some Stickles to his spots and some white doodling to his mane.  The sentiment is computer generated.

Cricut Cardz Challenge....card feature

The challenge this week at Cricut Cardz Challenge is to use the card feature on any cartridge.  I used A Child's Year for the card base and floral mat.  This patterned paper is from K and Company.  The center design is cut from Lacy Labels and I added some pearls instead of the final layer.  Since I cut this shape at 3", I was worried about getting the delicate details to cut cleanly.  My stamping in the center turned out a little blotchy but I think it still looks okay.

Paper Cutz Challenge #39

This week at Paper Cutz Challenge we were asked to make a graduation card using any colors. I used A Child's Year to cut the hat and Just Because to cut the shaped mat.
