Cricut Cardz Challenge #84

It's time for another Cricut Cardz Challenge!  This week's challenge is to make a card using a monogram with any cartridge and colors.  I have to say...this was a little hard for me.  I had to think on it for a while but this is what I came up with.
I cut my monogram from A Child's Year at 3" and the yellow strip is from MS Elegant Cake.  I welded two borders together on my Gypsy.  All pattern paper is from Echo Park - For the Record.   The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps - Everyday Greetings.  We can't wait to see your monogram projects....link up at Cricut Cardz Challenge.

For the Kiddos! Blog Hop

Welcome to the For the Kiddos! Blog Hop hosted by Laura at Makin' Pretty Things
If you arrived from Anita's blog then you are headed in the right direction. If you stopped stopped by for a visit, click here to start at the beginning. This hop is all about kids...either a project for a kid or something you create with your child. I decided to make a child's birthday card.
I cut this cute little poodle from Create a Critter at 2.75".  The circle mat is from Sugar and Spice at 3.21".  For the pink mat I used my Martha Stewart Elegant cake art cartridge and deselected the aspect ratio link on my Gypsy so I could make two borders that were 2" x 5.5".  I flipped one and then welded them together.   The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms Stamps set -  Amusing Animals.  If you have Create a Critter, then you need this stamp set....the sentiments are all so cute!

It wouldn't be a hop without some BLOG CANDY!
Please make sure your a follower and leave a comment on this post for a chance to win these goodies...

Tuesday Trigger: Porch Play

Hi guys!  I hope you are having a great weekend.  I spent the day at the park with my kids today...we are having some beautiful weather here in Texas.
I wanted to share a project that I made today for the Moxie Fab World, Tuesday Trigger.

Aren't these colors fabulous?!  My two favorites....red and turquoise.  Here's what I came up with...

I used my new Vintage Wallpaper background stamp from Market Street Stamps to stamp the yellow background.  I'm trying to branch out and learn some new techniques so I'm not using my Cricut for everything!  I cut the shaped mat from Lacy Labels and the butterfly from MS Elegant Cake Art.
The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms set - All in the Family.

I've had this card in my mind for a few days and tried all kinds of variations on the color scheme.  I'm not sure if this works or not but I like it more each time I look at it

Happy Friday!

Hi everyone!  I wanted to show you a few projects I've been working on this week. My kids went back to school and I didn't have many design team project due so I've been busy working on some things for my ETSY shop.  The first one is this fun banner.

I used Birthday Bash for the banner panels and Create a Critter for the bee.  The banners on Birthday Bash go together so super fast so if you want to make one this is definitely the cartridge to use.  The holes are already cut for you and everything just lines up perfectly.

Here is another one....so easy!  I embossed the white layer on this one.  The pattern paper is from DCWV Blossoms and Butterflies.  It looks so much like Easter eggs to me.  The sentiment is from the new Scrappy Moms set - Spring Fling.

These are little treat bag toppers.  So quick and easy to make.  I used Just Because for the base and Simply Charmed for the little chick.  This striped paper is Martha Stewart.

This last project is not for the ETSY shop but something I just wanted to make.  I alway make fun, cheerful, bright cards and when I need a sympathy card, I don't have anything that seems appropriate.  I really had to think on this for quite a while but I am happy with how it turned out.
I used my new MS Elegant Cake art cartridge for the butterfly and the paper is actually from a Halloween stack.

Be sure to check in next week, I've got a lot of fun hops coming up and will be offering Blog Candy for each one.   Thanks for stopping by.
